The Body Shop: Haul & Review

A few weeks ago The Body Shop had a deal on where you could get 25% off on your order with free delivery and a free Vitamin E cream with your order. Naturally, I took full advantage and spent almost £50 on their site. I love The Body Shop and I really wanted to update my skincare and shower products for summer as I find the products you use in winter don't translate well in warmer weather. And who doesn't like new bath products? Exactly. Don't judge me, and let's jump right into it. I purchased a total of seven products including the free Vitamin E cream, all the links will lead to the products if you're interested. I left it a little longer to post about these products because I wanted to give you a review on them as well and let you know if they did what they claimed or if I was unhappy with my choices. Keep reading and as always share your thoughts in the comments!

Blueberry Body Scrub. 200ml. £12.50
Body scrubs are my all-time favourite shower products because they leave your skin feeling fresh and seriously smooth. I heard Tati from YouTube talk about this new special edition blueberry scent so I thought I would give it a try. It's not as abrasive as I am used to, I generally like my body scrubs to be quite harsh, I love the colour - a striking deep, almost purple shade of blue - and it definitely does what it claims. It's stimulating and the smell is very refreshing. Not my favourite scrub so I don't think I will repurchase it, nothing it seems can beat The Breakfast Scrub from Soap & Glory, it is just the most delicious scent on Earth.

Vitamin E Moisture Cream. 50ml. £10.00.
This was the free product and I have tried other products in this range and loved them mostly for the clean scent and soothing feel. All the products in this range just leave your skin looking healthier and that is all you can really ask for. This cream is no different, it's not too thick but it feels very moisturising and hydrating without having to really work it into the skin like a body butter. It is only little but you don't need a lot. It smells great.

I had purchased this product before and I cannot put into words how much I love it. Okay that's a lie, I can. It is no secret that I am a die hard fan of scrubs, on my face and body, it's the only way I feel really clean. This scrub is perfect for when your skin is looking or feeling dull, I perpetually suffer from lack of sleep and washing my face with this dream in the morning instantly lifts both my mood and my skin. A firm favourite.
I bought this on a whim, I had been getting a few blemishes lately and now that I have become a revision hermit I don't tend to bother with makeup so I really felt I needed to step up my skincare routine. Unluckily, my trusty Benefit moisturiser is starting to run terrifyingly low so I got this as a replacement. I used to use a Tea Tree Facial wash when I was at school so the fragrance really takes me back which I don't hate. Tea Tree is really good for clearing the skin and soothing irritation. When you're not sure what's appropriate for your skin go for tea tree because it will only ever end well. Another great quality about this simple yet effective lotion is that it isn't oily at all which is perfect for my skin type. You can get a 15ml version for just £3.00 if you're unsure.

I have never tried a product like this before, and I thought I should invest in something as I won't want to use a facial scrub everyday so I chose this. Again tea tree is a fail safe range, you just cannot go wrong. It comes out like shaving foam but with less volume and it is very helpful in taking off makeup or just reviving your skin in the morning instead of applying a scrub. I dig.

Vitamin C Skin Reviver. 30 ml. £12.00
Again, another product I have never tried. It has a pump and you only need the tiniest amount so I love that as there is no wasted product, it comes out and feels very similar to a primer, I use it after applying the Tea Tree Lotion and before putting on makeup. It just brightens the skin a little more and has that lovely citrus scent that makes you feel more awake anyway.

Another product never tried before and one I adore. This cute little bottle is so lovely, you unscrew the lid which is a pipette and pinch the tip so a few drops of the oil spill onto your hand and then you pat it all over your face before bed. Its job is to essentially make it look like you have had that crucial eight hours of beauty sleep and leave your skin feeling wonderful and rested when you wake up in the morning, it smells divine like aromatherapy oils. I love this.

Thank you for reading, I hope you found this review and haul helpful. I really enjoyed trying out these products so if you have any other recommendations or suggestions just let me know in the comments. I have a few more reviews coming so stay tuned, lots of love and sorry it has been so long.
