Naked On The Run | Review

I picked the Naked On The Run palette up at Debenhams for my sister's birthday for £37.00 which was a few days ago and I was in two minds about it. We are both massive Urban Decay fans and completely obsessed with all the Naked palettes. Urban Decay will always be one of my all time favourite brands because I think their eyeshadows are beyond beautiful, the pigmentation and colour selection is insanely beautiful.

Here is what it looks like, the packaging alone is stunning. Urban Decay packaging has always been a force to be reckoned with, I think a lot of brands are veering towards rose gold simply because it looks so luxurious and expensive but managing to make a camouflage print not look tacky is a talent in itself. Their design team deserves a standing ovation, because I have never seen this done before.

The Naked On The Run Palette contains four previously unreleased eyeshadows, a bronzer, blusher, highlight, a Naked lipgloss, a brown 24/7 eyeliner and their Perversion mascara. There are no brushes but a decent sized mirror and again gorgeous packaging. I think Urban Decay eyeshadows and liners are their stand out products, creamy pigmented blendable dreams.

My reservations were based on the knowledge that my sister already owns a lot of Urban Decay palettes, including a face palette, a Vice palette and two of the Naked palettes. The bronzer unfortunately isn't dark enough to show up on our skintone, but when she opened it she was ecstatic with my choice in present. She really loves it, the eyeshadows are seriously beautiful and she doesn't own the lipgloss, mascara or eyeliner.

I would say this would be a lovely gift for any makeup lover that  prefers quality over quantity, it would also b a great travel palette because, especially for you fair-skinned girls out there, all you would need in addition to this is a foundation, concealer and setting powder and you are good to go wherever you like.

  1. I'm thinking of asking for this palette for my birthday, it looks gorgeous. The only down side is that there are no brushes:(

    1. If you don't have anything from the Naked Collection by Urban Decay I would say it's definitely worth it even though you don't get any brushes, because you can get decent brushes fairly cheaply and the quality of Urban Decay eyeshadows are just brilliant. Let me know if you get it and thank you for commenting!
