April Favourites

It's the 2nd of May already which means my exams are literally around the corner, I am honestly so scared but I thought I would take a break and share some things I have been loving with you guys as I know I haven't posted properly in a while but don't worry, hopefully I can change that. So without further ado, let's jump into my May Favourites. I have actually bought quite a few new beauty products lately that I have really been enjoying, I will do a full review on some of the products so keep your eyes peeled for that.

I know I have mentioned this numerous times but it is such a gorgeous palette, with a great range of bright vibrant colours. I have just been to an Indian wedding and this palette is definitely my go-to, quick shout out to Kaushal Beauty because I decided to buy this after watching one of her videos, her channel is really great so I recommend that you check it out here

If you follow me on social media you'll know that I recently went to Budapest and this is all that I took with me for my base. There are pros and cons to this kit and I will do a full review very shortly with my honest opinion, but it is handy and compact, so ideal for travelling and relatively inexpensive for the range of products you get.

Mascara is such a ritual for me, I could easily spend five-ten minutes just applying coats of mascara to my lashes, it is oddly therapeutic. Maybelline always kill it with their mascaras and I love the duality of this mascara, with the bigger brush for top lashes and the smaller brush for the tiny little bottom lashes. The way I apply it is I use the big brush first, sometimes on both upper and lower lashes and then I use the tiny wand to comb through any clumps and separate my lashes for a full fanned lash effect.

There are two eyeshadow brushes that I have been loving and the first is the Real Techniques Deluxe Crease Brush. This is a favourite because it makes blending so easy, but I also think it's the perfect shape to tap on eyeshadow absolutely anywhere on the eye after you have completed your eyeliner and mascara and just want a little more colour but don't want to disrupt the makeup you have one, it would also work really well for blending concealer.

MAC 212 Brush - £19
The MAC brush is great for pushing eyeliner or in my case black eyeshadow on the tight line and smudging into the lash line, I struggle so much with eyeliner and this brush makes it really easy.

The Gelly Nail Paints by Barry M are such an amazing formula. It lasts for days, and applies so easily, not to mention the stunning array of colours. Elderberry is gorgeous and has been on my nails non-stop, I never get tired of it.

I have just recently discovered Huda Kattan and I think she is incredibly beautiful, I love her videos and could pretty much stare at her amazingly defined face all day long, and I am not ashamed to admit this. I have the biggest girl crush on her. I'll include some of my favourite videos of hers below so you can have a look for yourself, although I am sure you've all been subscribed to her for ages already.

Thank you so much for reading, I really appreciate your support. I hope to see you again soon. I will have an updated skincare routine, an in-depth review of the Bare Minerals palette and the details on my three day excursion to Budapest up for you in the coming week. I absolutely promise. Don't forget to follow and check out my Facebook page as well as my other social media. Thanks again. Take care.
