Can't Live Without

This is the first post of the {July . . .} August Beauty Challenge and it's the products you cannot live without. I am so excited to start this, I am hoping it will keep me motivated to blog as often as I can while I still have the time. So, without further ado, here are my can't-live-without products. There are five products mentioned in total and all the links and prices (in GBP) will be provided.

This Amazing Daily Face Polish is one of my favourite face scrubs, it smells lovely and fresh. The consistency isn't overly abrasive, but also not gentle enough to not make a difference. As I have oily skin, I don't really feel myself unless my face gets some exfoliation daily. Of course, this isn't for everyone, and scrubbing the face too often can be bad for your skin as it irritates sensitive areas and blemishes but this is just what works for me. I don't feel clean unless I have thoroughly exfoliated my face and I notice my skin is a lot clearer when I take this step.

This is one of the lightest foundations I have ever had the pleasure of using and I continuously come back to it. This light-infusing foundation works gloriously on my combination skin despite being a dewy foundation, it blends quickly and seamlessly and is a must-have for those no-makeup makeup days. I am in the shade Rose Beige.

This contouring kit is dreamy, it has been available in Superdrug long before contouring took the internet by storm. Sleek is an amazing brand, simply because it caters for all skin colours which is astonishingly rare for most high-end makeup brands. This kit is perfect, affordable, the shades are spot on, pigmented, blendable and long-lasting. For even longer wear set over a dark concealer. The perfect powder contour kit, take that Anastasia Beverly Hills.

Due to my oily skin and preference for the gorgeous dewy radiant foundation that is L'Oreal Lumi Magique it is a must for me to set my entire face with a pressed powder. Rimmel Stay Matte in Translucent is my go-to, I use it every single time I put makeup on my face because it doesn't feel cakey or heavy on my skin and it doesn't look thick either.

These brushes are some of my absolute favourites, because they literally have a brush for everything. The Expert Face Brush was the first makeup brush I ever purchased and it applies foundation beautifully. I still use it to this day even though I have had it for almost three years. They wash up like new. My favourite and most used brushes from their collection are the Buffing Brush, the Sculpting Brush, the Expert Face Brush, the Setting Brush, the Deluxe Crease Brush and the very versatile Base Shadow Brush. Samantha and Nic Chapman are my heroes.

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoy this first entry into the belated July Beauty Challenge, which I will from now on be referring to as the August Beauty Challenge.
