Kylie's makeup game is always out of this world, and of course her new website launch has meant that all of her fans can watch exclusive tutorials on her makeup looks. You do have to pay £2.99 a month to be privy to this content, as is the same with all the new Kardashian and Jenner apps. This tutorial is free on the KylieJenner.com website and I'll post the video at the end so you can see everything in motion. For the products and prices please keep reading as everything will be linked below.
The makeup application was done by the stunning Hrush, who is an incredibly talented makeup artist and is especially skilled in flawless makeup application for photography. She starts with the eyes on Kylie and this is an important step to take whenever you are using dark colours on the eyes, or shadows with a lot of fallout. Applying eye makeup first allows the face makeup which is arguably most important to apply very cleanly.
MAKEUP TUTORIAL - STEPS
Apply scotch tape/sellotape to the outside corner of the eyes, so it meets where the brow finishes. This provides a really clean look and winged effect to the makeup, elongating the eye.
Laura Mercier Eye Primer in Buff - £20.50
Tarte Clay Pot Eyeliner - $21
False Lashes (I'm not sure which ones she is wearing but she is a fan of Lilly Lashes)
Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation (£42.61) + Cover FX Custom Cover Drops (£36) applied with a dense Kabuki brush
Beauty Blender used again to push the foundation in
Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer in SX 3 as Concealer - £36.50
Bobbi Brown Foundation Skin in Chesnut to Contour - £29.50
Both products applied with a flat concealer brush
Blended together with Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel - £32
Anastasia Brow Wiz - £15,50
Anastasia Contour L'Orange as a base for the blush - £14
Japonesque Blush No.3 - Coming Soon
It doesn't actually mention what lip products are used for some reason, but this is a very similar shade, if not the colour used.
Finally it was set with Mac Fix + for a dewy finish - £17
And there you have it, Kylie Jenner's Birthday Glam. Even in this short tutorial I learnt quite a lot, what is your favourite part of this makeup look? Make sure to tell me in the comments below! Here is the video of the tutorial so you can see Hrush in action. The quality of this video is fairly poor, but you can also see it by clicking HERE to view the video on her website.
