Superdrug Haul | Drugstore Powders

Superdrug is one of my favourite stores to shop in, because it is inexpensive, always has offers on and provides a 10% Student Discount as well as allowing customers to earn points on their Beauty Cards. I do, however, wish they had more shades available in store and that staff were more easily accessible for when you want an opinion on shade-matching. I went in to Superdrug today, wanting to get some new makeup for a party I am attending on Sunday. Here are the first three products I purchased.

1. Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation in Natural Beige - £6
This is supposed to be a great foundation for oilier skin types, like mine. It promises to be very light-weight, natural coverage, and prevent shine. It is a small bottle, so I hope a little goes a long way, and the size makes me think it would be perfect for travelling.

2. Collection SheerLoose Powder in Translucent - £3
This sheer loose powder comes with a sieve and application sponge. It claims to reduce shine and provide a natural finish to your makeup. It is so cheap so I hope it will do a good job and stop me from buying the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder that ever beauty blogger seems to possess.

I already own the Translucent Pressed Powder, but I really wanted a powder that would be more suitable for photographs. Translucent powders can photograph poorly making the skin look a lot lighter in photographs than it is ordinarily. I love the translucent powder so much I thought I would get a slightly warmer shade true to my skin to get a better makeup base.

4, 20 Make-up Wedges - £3.69
For baking! I really want to try this trend as it is alleged to render your contour god-like, and isn't that what we all want? I am excited to try it, and look forward to dabbing and dusting powder in various areas of my face to keep the shine at bay.

The beautiful Huda Beauty baking with no oven in sight ;)
Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed this post. You can click on the product names to purchase, I bought everything with my own money and these are all direct links not affiliate. I made no money from this post, in fact I lost quite a small chunk. Makeup addict problems . . . Please leave a comment, as I love reading them and am trying to connect with other bloggers as much as possible. Have a wonderful weekend. Take care.

Love ♥
