I was thinking that Christmas is a time where people discuss their favourite things, so let's briefly discuss my favourite makeup product and everything I love and hate about it. I am talking about the By Terry Ombré Blackstars. They are exquisite, with a unique shade range, luxurious golden packaging and the most stunning colour pay off I have ever seen.
I had the colour Bronze Moon, a beautiful every day shade which can be used on its own or as a base for a beautiful warm eye look. I was so in love with this product, it was my favourite thing about my makeup. As I have an annoying tendency to leave my bed at the absolute last possible second that it is feasible for me to still be at the required place, at least, somewhat on time, quick makeup is a necessity. This is quick and beautiful. There were weeks when I wore it every single day, considering I get bored quite easily and need to change up things regularly (this includes my nails as well as my makeup) this is a miracle.
That being said, there are negatives to be mentioned as well. Most importantly, it broke. It fucking broke on me. It just fell out of the pretty gold reflective tube it came in. That was a kick in the teeth, let me tell you. It costs £29. Which is a ridiculous amount of money to spend on a single eye product, but it is a high-end luxury brand and although there are many alternatives out there in the "drugstore" world, few come close to meeting the quality of this product. If you are hunting for similar shadow sticks, I would suggest Kiko (£6.90).

That is the end of my little trip down memory lane, it is a beautiful product and when I'm rich, or financially stable, I fully intend to purchase the whole range as well as backups in case they decide to hop out of their packaging again. They are just too gorgeous to pack up. I hope you had a wonderful weekend, I'm in London until Wednesday so I doubt I'll be getting many posts up in the next few days. Keep in touch with me on Instagram (username: alittlekiran) I'll post all my beauty related thoughts and favourites on there, to keep you going. Don't forget to subscribe to my blog and leave your own makeup story below. I would love to have some reading on the train.
