It's been said over and over again that your fingers are by far your best tools. The heat of your finger/hand warms up the cream product so it applies better when transferred to your face. In addition, because your finger is a part of your body it allows you to have more control and precision with product placement. Never underestimate your own body. As for hygiene, some people don't want to use their fingers, if you're a makeup artist or simply applying makeup on another it is out of the question and that is where this new product comes in.
Introducing the Magic Cosmetix Magic Tips (£10), patent pending, this new innovation allows you to use your God-given tools without wasting any of the liquid or cream product. The Magic Tips (patent pending) are made of a rubber-like material allowing for smooth, flawless application. You get two in the box as well as a makeup pouch, all for £10, and from what I can tell it is most popularly used for applying concealer, however, these can be used for any liquid or cream product: foundation, blush, contouring, concealing. Absolutely anything. The two rubber "tips" (god that sounds so dirty) are supposed to cover your index and middle finger which are the most commonly used in makeup application, although your ring finger is the gentlest and therefore largely considered the best for applying concealer as it doesn't tug at the eyes, however because the rubber acts as a barrier there should be no tugging with this product as it is essentially a tool. They can also be washed and reused an unlimited amount of times which is fabulous. This is an ideal product for a makeup artist and for anyone who likes to use their fingers but wants a smoother, more professional application. You can watch Isabel Bedoya apply her foundation, concealer and contour with these new tools down below, she, of course, makes it look utterly flawless and gorgeous. I'm tempted. . .
Let me know in the comments below what you think of this new idea and if you would consider buying it? My only criticisms are I wish you got more than just two, I think a pack of four so you can have two for each hand makes more sense and that you got them in assorted sizes but as these are still relatively new, who know, they may still expand their product and tweak their design too. Thank you so much for reading, please comment your thoughts about this product and follow my blog. It means the world to me as I blog in pretty much all my spare time, which isn't a lot. Take care.
