Stop the presses, because I have a new favourite brush. The Makeup Geek Foundation Stippling Brush (£14.50) is the first and only product I have tried from Makeup Geek and I am in love. This is such a fantastic synthetic foundation brush, it blends like an absolute dream and can be used with both creams and powders to achieve an effortless, smooth base.. Using this brush, I buff, not stipple, the foundation onto my face and it leave a flawless, streak-free finish. I can apply my foundation perfectly in seconds.
Real Techniques is one of the best brush brands around, regardless of price, and their Expert Face Brush, Buffing Brush and Multitask Brush have all been permanent fixtures in my foundation routine for quite some time. The MG Stipling Brush is slightly different: the bristles of the brush are super soft, synthetic and densely packed, meaning it works wonderfully with both liquid and mineral foundations. The densely packed brush hairs mean you get more coverage out of your product, so your foundation will last you longer. I just love how evenly it distributes the foundation and that it doesn't absorb any of the foundation. I would say this is a complete must have and will cut the time it takes for you to apply your foundation brutally in half. This brush has stolen my heart, I won't let go.
Thank you for reading, please comment below and share your favourite technique for applying foundation in a comment and what you think of my new blog design. I think it looks a little plain at the moment, so will be looking into different features to bedazzle my page and make it as fabulous as my soul. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend and don't forget to follow my blog. Take care.
