So Currently Coveting is the start of a new series where I discuss the products I desperately want. This week, I am coveting the Benefit Cosmetics Cheekathon Palette (£44.50). Isn't it glorious? In this palette, you get 5 full size products, including four blushes and a bronzer, plus a mini powder brush. If you like the look of just two blushes it would definitely be worth it, financially, to get the full palette. I have tried CORALista (love!), Dandelion (meh) and Hoola (nope). The five shades are:

CORALista (£23.50) My personal favourite, a beautiful warm coral-pink with a hint of shimmer.
Dandelion (£23.50) Ballerina pink blush, for a sweet pop of colour on the cheeks.
Dallas (£23.50) Marketed as a blush and bronzer in one, a warm toned neutral sheer powder.
Rockateur (£23.50) Rose gold blush with a mosaic pattern, looks really pretty.
Hoola (£23.50) Slightly cool-toned, pure matte medium brown shade, too light for me.

CORALista is by far my favourite, it is so beautiful and would suit everybody. The only blush I would ever need, if I wasn't addicted to makeup. Still, £23.50 is a ridiculous price (IMO) to pay for a blush. You get 5g of product and a mini brush (that everyone throws away), but the packaging is cardboard and the ingredients are standard. The Sleek blushes (£5), in comparison, are a fraction of the price and you more product: 7g. I love Benefit, but their Hoola bronzer, that everyone adores, is too pale to do anythng for me and their Dandelion blush is nice but nothing to write home about. That being said, I am very tempted to get this palette because Dallas and Rockateur are two shades I have been considering purchasing for ages.

Have any of you tried them? What are your thoughts? Is the Cheekathon Palette a must-have or a pass for you? Let me know in the comments, please. In the UK, you can purchase this palette for £44.50 ($58) at House of Fraser and the Benefit Cosmetics Website. In the US, you can find it for $58 at Sephora and Ulta. Thank you so much for reading, I will have my April Favourites up for you tomorrow, most likely quite late, so stay tuned for that. Have a lovely weekend. Take care.

What is your favourite blush?

Love ♥

  8. I don't own many high-end blushers or any from Benefit, so for me, this would be a great way to try out their range. Rockateur and Coralista look really beautiful. I've heard Dallas looks a lot better on the skin than it does in the pan. I may have to get this palette. Thanks for sharing! :)

  9. omg i HAVE to get my hands on this! it looks amazing!

  10. Anything Benefit always catches my eye, the products are so good and so prettily packaged! I love their blush so I would definitely go with them, but I've actually never used anything like Dallas which looks interesting! Thank you for the review love :)
