5 Unique Sugar Skull Halloween Tutorials. Image: erikamariemua |
Are you excited for Halloween? I know I am, and in typical me fashion I always leave everything to the last minute. The great thing about Halloween is that last minute, thrown together costumes can be the work of pure genius and really test out your creativity. If you don't want to splash out on a costume, a sugar skull will always have your back on the spookiest night of the year. The best thing about sugar skulls are that no two skulls look the same and the makeup artists on social media have been knocking it out of the park with their incredible skills. So here are 5 of my favourite sugar skull tutorials that are not only unique but also exquisite. First up is Erika Marie MUA who is responsible for this gorgeous liquid gold and black skull above. Her Instagram is chock full of incredible Halloween makeup ideas if you are suffering from lack of inspiration. Her talent is unreal.

Glitter Sugar Skull Halloween Tutoiral by Tina Halada |
Tina's glittery sugar skull is one of my favourites because it looks complex and cool and has glitter. Who doesn't love a bit of glitter? I think it's a really unique look and would be easier to recreate especially once you watch the tutorial. She's 15 years old and her artistry is mind-boggling, plus she's an absolute stunner. Check out her Instagram here and her sugar skull YouTube tutorial below.

Promise Tamang's White Henna and Pearly Pretty Sugar Skull |
Promise Tamang created this exquisite skull look with white henna and pearls. Be the most ladylike, elegant skull in the joint. I just love how pretty and sweet this looks whilst still being ghostly and ethereal. I love that you can have fun with this look, stick some sequins on, a fun wig, a bridal dress.

Vanessa Davis from the_wigs_and_makeup_manager Jewelled Uniwue Sugar Skull Halloween Tutorial |
It's incredible how creative people can be, I would never think of this and the effect is breathtaking. This looks like it would be very difficult to recreate so I would highly advise practicing first or even adapting it to suit your capabilities and patience. It's so beautiful and colourful that it would be sure to make you stand out. This is the total opposite of a basic Sugar Skull. Vanessa Davis is the amazing makeup artist who created this look, her Instagram handle is: the_wigs_and_makep_manager and she has some of the best content I have ever seen. No lie. Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed this post. These were all photos I came across myself and found personally inspiring. Of course, this post wasn't sponsored in any way. Halloween is one of my favourite holidays but honestly the last few weeks have been very trying for me so I haven't been as excited as I usually am around this time of year. Hence, this post is a way to gear myself up for the upcoming festivities. I'll be in London skulling it up so follow me on SnapChat to see more, I would love to connect with you. My Snap handle is alittlekiran. I share new beauty products I buy on there too. Hope you enjoyed this post and found it inspiring like I did, I would love to know your favourite. Take care.
Which look did you like best?
Love ❤
