Really Ree x Space NK Event Gift/Goodie Bag High End Beauty Haul |
At the end of last month I was lucky enough to attend my first ever blogger event thanks to Really Ree. I am not sure all of you know, but I write for Really Ree's incredible site and she and her amazing team hosted an event at Space NK in London for their guest writers (I am not sure if we have an official name yet). They were generous to give us a gift bag full of gorgeous beauty products and I, naturally, did some extra damage with my debit card while in store and in London in general (but that's for another post otherwise this would be far too long). So this post will discuss only what we received in the gift bag because there is an impressive array of products that I can't wait to try. Without further ado, let's jump right in. A lot of these products and brands I have never tried before and I have not had a chance to use any of these yet either so please keep reading for a quick introduction to each product and my initial impressions of them, consider this a Beauty on Trial post.
Nude Detox Brightening Fizzy Powder Wash (£38) This brightens, restores radiance and detoxifies, sounds like quite the powerhouse. It is best used thrice a week and you just need to mix with water to activate it and turn it into a gritty paste. I haven't used a product like this before, but have heard positive things. Reminds me a little of my DIY baking soda with water at home scrub hack.
Nude Progenius Firming Youth Oil (£72) Sample size is 5ml. An age-defying oil with a velvety formula, apply 3-5 drops onto skin morning and night to reveal dewy, plump skin. A great product for those looking to take preventative measures when it comes to ageing. I am 22 so this isn't high on my list just yet, but the reviews say it helps texture and the overall appearance of skin. I'm sold.
Rodial's Dragon's Blood Hyaluronic Tonic (£33) The phrase "dragon blood" evokes similar emotions in me as "unicorn tears". Immediately, I think of this tonic as a life-changing, magical potion concocted in a distant land where knights and princesses reside. Can I live there please? From what I can glean this is a spray which hydrates, best used on dehydrated skin and can also be used to set makeup. Claims to brighten skin and refine pores, I hate my pores so this should be interesting.
Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum (£45) Another age-defying, radiance boosting product that helps to even skin tone and eradicate dark spots. Apply morning and night, after cleansing and before moisturiser. It has an oil-free formula so is suitable for all skin types. Caudalie is such a great brand.

By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Powder (£42) A setting powder with unique ingredients to help keep the skin looking plump and fresh while making makeup last. It contains hyaluronic acid (for plumping) and silica microbeads to keep makeup matte but not dry. I love a good setting powder.
Omnorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm (£48) This is a dark, clay-coloured cleanser. I hadn't heard of this brand before the event I attended but slowly since then I have seen it crop up in people's posts and have read nothing positive reports on their amazing products. The reviews on this cleanser are stellar. It is made with Moor mud and is a very gentle way to remove makeup, it claims to leave your skin radiant, soft and silky smooth and is approved to use all over, even stubborn eye makeup.

By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Powder Sarah Chapman Skinesis Overnight Facial Omnorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm |
Sarah Chapman Skinesis Overnight Facial (£46) An anti-ageing, vitamin-infused serum oil. This works overnight so you wake up with hydrated and illuminated skin in the morning. It has rave reviews, so I am excited to try it out. Some say your skin feels like cashmere and others say it smells weird so I will definitely do a future post on this one.
Nude Stix Intense Matte Lip and Cheek Pencil in Stiletto (£24) Stiletto is a super-rich matte red. It is a beautiful colour, if you have read my blog you might already know how I feel about red lips. It's not for me, but you can read that post here. This can be used on the cheeks as well, the colour is quite intense so not sure how well it would work as a blush. I think this would look phenomenal on rich, deep skin both on the cheeks and lips.
Hourglass Femme Rouge Lipstick in Icon (£22) A long lasting creamy, water-resistant refillable lipstick with Vitamin E to keep your lips moisturised and full-looking. The colour Icon is a deep red. I got a sample version of this lipstick. There are lots of lovely shades and the formula is very nice.

Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Stick Foundation in Golden Tan (£42) I am sure you have all heard the usual suspects talking about this foundation and how incredible is. I heard that it was a greater option for those with oilier you skin so thought I would pick it up. I have been using it for a week now and honestly I am not too impressed, but I will persevere and upload a review in due course.
