I was asked to be a part of the Beauty Bay #FeelingFearless campaign and they sent me these three products pictured above. I can't believe I got a PR package from Beauty Bay, one of my most used sites, someone pinch me. I tend to play it pretty safe with my makeup so this was somewhat of a challenge for me to create something with these colourful, unique products but I had so much fun. I hope you like how it turned out. The products I received were the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Skin Frost in Mint Condition* (£25), Morphe Crème Lip Polish in Amethyst* (£5) and the Ofra Shimmer Eyeshadow in Peach* (£8).
I'll be honest and say that I was most excited about receiving the Skin Frost as it just looks so pretty in the pan, I did not want to swatch it. I know Jeffree is a hot topic in the beauty world and many people hold different opinions of him, this is the first product I have tried from his brand and I thought it was pretty cool. Use your own judgement in these things, it is your money at the end of the day and if you don't want to buy his products then that is, of course, up to you. Another brand I haven't used before is Ofra, I used the peach eyeshadow from Ofra as a wash of colour on the lids and found it to be nicely pigmented, blendable and buildable.
I smoked out my lash line with some black shadow to add some depth as well. Peach is such a lovely colour especially in the Spring. The Morphe Creme Lip Polish in Amethyst is a stunning rich magenta purple which creates a beautiful glossy lip and I found it to apply best with the squeezy applicator. I cleaned up my lip line with a makeup wipe and some concealer. It is, however, a nightmare to get off completely, even the swatch on my hand took three cleansers, a scrub and some antibacterial soap but it doesn't feel sticky at all on the lips and has great color payoff. I wanted to make the look a little more interesting so I patted on some of the Mint Condition Skin Frost on top of the lips, particularly focused on the centre to create the look you see below. Similar to the Ofra Peach Shadow, Mint Condition is buildable and although the greenish tint is different it is actually quite beautiful, definitely pretty shimmery. On the skin it is more shimmery than reflective.
So I did create a full face look that I am not happy with at all, I just hate how I look in photos and sitting down to edit a hundred selfies is the worst way I can imagine spending my time. I did, however, create the look below using all 3 products and here you can see what the peach eyeshadow looks like on the eyes and how Mint Condition looks on the skin. This look was definitely out of my comfort zone, I tired a lot of new things and maybe that's why I don't like it as much as my usual makeup. I would love to know what you think of the makeup look, feel free to be honest. I just want to take the time to say how much admiration and respect I have for all the bloggers out there who have the balls to put themselves and their stunning faces on the internet because honestly it makes me want to puke. Dagmara, Shireen and Beckie from The Pale Tails to name a few, you guys are so gorgeous and wonderful and I have never truly appreciated or understood how awesome you would have to be to share your work and face for the consumption of the masses to dissect and tear apart. All of you rock and inspire me. I will leave a list of the products I used below, no links this time.

Thank you so much for reading, I am ecstatic to have even been considered to be a part of this campaign. If you are interested, there is a Beauty Bay ad on the right which you can click. I believe I get a small commission if you actually buy anything from that link but I still haven't totally figured out this affiliate thing. Let me know your thoughts on this makeup look. The next few posts will be scheduled so please check back when you have the time and leave me a comment. I will return them all when able. Thank you for all your comments on my last post and have a fantastic week. Take care.
