Sometimes I just want to talk about new products, this particular product is already available in the US. You can get it here at Sephora and here at Smashbox US for $42 and I am talking about the Smashbox Studio Skin Shaping Foundation Stick that aims to provide a foundation and a soft contour all in one. It is described as a double-ended face shaping stick which has a full size foundation on one end and a complimentary contour shade on the other. The foundation provides a medium coverage with a natural finish and the contour is described as soft and "perfectly co-ordinated". I am keeping my eyes peeled for this in UK stores. If you want to read a thorough review Gigi from Beat Face Fridayy wrote an incredible in-depth review here complete with swatches of all 16 shades available which you can see below. If you have time check out her Instagram, her feed is flawless.
I think my shade would be 3.0 or 3.1. I love the concept of this product and it is exactly the kind of finish and duality that I desire as most days I do foundation, contour and powder and that is all. My face needs the dimension a soft contour gives and although powder products tend to be my preference for this, I think if the long lasting claims are true this could be a complete game-changer for my daily makeup routine so understandably I am eagerly anticipating the UK release for this product! Please share your thoughts in the comments below, have you tried anything from Smashbox Cosmetics? Do you like the idea of this product? Hope you have a great day. Take care.

I've never tried anything from Smashbox, but this looks so good! It's great you get a full size foundation and the contour shade too, plus there are so many shades available!xx

DeleteI've never tried a Smashbox foundation before, but I love what face products I have tried from the brand. I have a cream contour from them, and it's a perfect cool toned shade. I feel like this product is the best of both worlds!

Absolutely, I haven't tried their foundations either but I have heard that they are good and longlasting which is nice x
DeleteI'm a massive fan of the smashbox 15 hour wear hydrating foundation. So I am definitely keen on trying this foundation. I also love cream contouring via contour sticks, I'll definitely need to pick this up. x
