Kourt K x Kylie Cosmetics Collaboration Eyeshadow Palettes and Liquid Lipsticks
Kylie recently announced a Kourt x Kylie Cosmetics collaboration. Kourtney Kardashian is Kylie's oldest sister and to my knowledge the last of her Kardashian sisters to collaborate with her hugely successful but also controversial cosmetics line. I do foresee a Kendall Jenner collaboration in the near future. In this collection there are three pressed shadow palettes, all quads (four shades in each) and three velvet liquid lipsticks. The new products are available to purchase 3pm PST on 24th April 2018 which is 11pm UK time if you are interested in picking up these products.

All the palettes are encased in holographic boxes. The first quad to be discussed is the blue pressed eyeshadow palette. The four shadows in this palette are: 1944 (a true metallic gold, very Studio 54 vibes), In the Reign (a more subdued softer champagne gold), Calabassas (a matte orangey brown) and Bible (deep plum matte). I like all the colours in this palette, I wish Calabassas was less orange, but overall I would use all of these shades and can envision a few looks with just these shades.

The pink pressed eyeshadow palette consists of  Diamond (a metallic taupe silver shade), Poosh (a more silver metallic), Gluten Free (a beautiful metallic pale gold) and The Queen (a sorbet orange matte). This is my least favourite palette of the three possibly due to the lack of matte shadows and the one matte is not a shade I like at all. The metallic shimmers are all pretty and great shades but as a palette it just doesn't wow me.

Kourt K x Kylie Cosmetics Green Eyeshadow Palette

The green pressed eyeshadow palette is the last of the palettes and the shadows in this one are Slob Kabob (soft purple grey matte), Heartless (metallic pure silver), Ma$e (a rich matte red, it looks like the eyeshadow version of MAC's Ruby Woo) and finally Matcha (a metallic forest green). This screams Christmas to me, only Slob Kabob looks completely out of place here, I would have liked a more neutral matte, not something as cool toned as that purple grey shade. I would have loved something unexpected to keep with the vibrancy of this palette like a shocking yellow but I can understand why a softer shade would be more helpful when using the palette.

Finally, the three liquid lipsticks are called French Kiss (a soft light creamy pinkish nude), Minnie (a very wearable darkish pink, that looks coral in the sunlight as far as I can tell) and Rad (bright matte warm red). As you can probably guess I barely ever wear liquid lipsticks and if I do it would be a darkish brown shade. I think these are great summer lip shades and would suit most people, especially those with a warm skin tone.

Congratulations! You made it to the end. It took a while to get through three quads and three liquid lipsticks. I don't post about all of Kylie's releases but for some reason you guys really seem to like these posts so I keep posting them when the collections aren't too overwhelming, for instance I skipped right over the Weather Collection. If you have any requests for posts please post them below, I have a tonne of reviews I need to post but I also have a few launches I want to cover as I love hearing your opinions on new releases, so stay tuned. Please leave me a comment with thoughts on these palettes and liquid lipsticks. Overall, I won't be buying anything, as you know, customs are a killer, not to mention the additional shipping cost. Furthermore, quads are not something I would splurge on as far as eyeshadow palettes go, although the majority of the colours are pretty and appealing and the colour payoff looks great, I couldn't justify the money at all. Thank you so much for reading. We had some really bad shit happen last week so this is keeping me sane. Take care.

Do you like any of the Kourt K x Kylie palettes and lipsticks?
